Understanding the need for quality tooling for aerospace composites, IMD has devceloped CCST, Constant Cross Section Tooling. This development has reduced the cost and manufacturing time of composite tooling. CCST allows aluminum to be used in large tooling applications without the inherent thermal problems. CCST has proven to have excellent thermal signatures during the manufacturing of complex composite parts.
